ARROJO Knocks It Out the Park As IBS NY Celebrates Its Century
At the 100-year anniversary instillation of IBS NYC, ARROJO scored top marks on main-stage, in the classrooms, and on the booth. With American Wave Hair Care making its debut, texture, movement and curl were the buzz words on the show floor.
Led by Nick Arrojo, this main-stage show delivered a Sonic Boom of creative inspiration. Showing new trends like ‘square-lighting,’ ’root-wrapping,’ and American Wave, as well as ARROJO’s signature razor cuts, a spectacular runway show drew a huge audience, and media interest.
“People are wearing their hair curly, they're wearing their hair natural. We used to live in a completely straight world. Now we're living in a world where we're encouraging texture, movement and curl, and American Wave is the product that we're using."
Continuing the theme, scores of stylists got American Wave Texture Service certified at one of two certification classrooms; they can now practice the trending and lucrative salon service in their own salons. In the show booth American Wave Hair Care was a sell-out as hairdressers got down with this prestigious hyper-luxe line that is making waves throughout the industry.
Completing a centurion offering, our Trend Inspiration Look and Learn classroom with Nick Arrojo showed creative demonstrations highlighting the principal scissor and razor cutting trends for 2017.
