ARROJO Brings the Elixir to ISSE
At the 2017 International Salon and Spa Expo––with a trendy new main-stage show, groundbreaking education, a rollicking trade booth, and the launch of the American Wave Product Line––the ARROJO artistic team had the elixir to inspire stylists from across the States.
Led by Nick Arrojo, the Main Stage presentation features cuts and colors, textures and styles from our three signature collections for 2017, Sugar Candy, SonicBOOM, and Undefined. Much of the inspiration for these collections comes from the 1990s as the runway show and live model demonstrations highlight everything from classic bobs to grungy colors and undone styles –– a pick-and-mix approach that incorporates everything from the commercial beauty trends of to rebellious punk rock vibes.
Renowned as the education brand ARROJO brought two seminars to the ISSE classrooms. The packed out Trend Inspiration Look & Learn classroom saw Nick Arrojo take center-stage to highlight the techniques behind our principal scissor and razor cutting trends for 2017. Meanwhile, our hands-on American Wave Texture Service Certification classroom features newly invented, highly creative wrapping techniques giving textures even more oomph; and it gave scores of stylists the opportunity to go back to their salons certified with a lucrative new service and creative new skill.

American Wave Product Line Launch
Building on the incredible success of the American Wave Texture Service, the American Wave Product Line is a six-piece collection setting the gold standard in care and styling for textured hair. It was launched at ISSE, which gave salon owners and stylists at the show the chance to be the first to use and recommend these prestige products made for heavenly waves & curls. "These luxurious high-performance products support celebrate and support the timeless elegance, beauty and grace of texture," says Nick Arrojo as the orders came tumbling in.
